This book is amazingly helpful! I don't think I could be happier with it. I was already a member of the Spark for 5 months when I purchased this book. I was a little skeptical at first because I thought I had already learned all I could from the website. I was wrong. I am SO HAPPY I purchased this book. It helped me organize my thoughts, and organize all of the things I did learn on Spark.com I needed this to help me start over where I started falling behind. I'm now much more organized and realize that my weight loss goals are not the only thing I can gain from Spark.
It isn't just about losing weight. It's about being a healthy person inside and out. I was starting to become depressed before reading the book. The book helped me find what I was missing, figure out why I was depressed, and helped me find how to fix the problem. I've been fine ever since. Got the book in January when it was first released, and have been great since. I've got new goals and a plan on how to reach them for everything in my life that I was struggling with. I've even lost 12 pounds already.
You start with very small, obtainable goals to help build confidence in your ability to achieve your goals. You then build from there and work your way up to larger accomplishments.
I promise you it works! Everyone should read this book, regardless of where they are in their journey. It also helps you to help other people.

This is the first time I have been disappointed in a book rating, by the seller, before buying. This person did not give an honest rating. The book had a gouge in the front cover and several pages were torn. This was not mentioned in the condition of the book. I would not buy from Anniebug32 again.

I have been a member of the sparkpeople website for about a year now. While I love the webiste, I wish I had read the book first. There is a lot of great information and motivational excerpts from sparkpeople members included in this book. If you are looking to change your life for the better in more ways that just dieting, this book and way of life is for you.
